Welcome to our Subtlety Rogue DPS guide for World of Warcraft 4.3. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about playing a Subtlety Rogue in a raid environment, though most of the content also applies to normal and heroic dungeons.

In single-target situations, all three Rogue specialisations perform roughly the same, with Subtlety being arguably the overall best.

In multiple-target situations, Subtlety is one of the worst specialisations in the game. As such, we advise you against using this specialisation when AoE damage is crucial to your success in a fight.

As is the case with all Rogues, Subtlety Rogues provide many utilities and crowd control abilities to your raid. They also have a variety of survival abilities that will always come in handy.
