Welcome to our Fire Mage DPS guide for World of Warcraft 4.3. Here, you will learn everything you need to know about playing a Fire Mage in a raid environment, though most of the content also applies to normal and heroic dungeons.

The Fire specialisation delivers good and sustained single target damage as well as incredible AoE capabilities, and high survivability. This specialisation also enables Mages to retain a large part of their DPS while moving. Furthermore, Fire Mages have little to no mana issues but offer few crowd control abilities in comparison to the Frost specialisation.

As a Fire Mage, you will use a broad range of spells. Some can be used for both single and multiple target sequences while others are exclusive to one of these two situations. Sometimes, a single target fight can have additional secondary targets from which you can benefit to increase your damage on your main target. In multiple target sequences, the strategy you will use will depend on several parameters, such as the number of adds and their health points.
