Welcome to our Assassination Rogue DPS guide for World of Warcraft 4.3. Here, you will learn
everything you need to know about playing an Assassination Rogue in a raid environment,
though most of the content also applies to normal and heroic dungeons.
Assassination Rogues have one of the best AoE damage capabilities in the
game (thanks to many boosts to 
Fan of Knives). They also provide very good
single-target DPS. The only area where they are clearly behind Combat Rogues
is in multiple-target fights, when the number of enemies is not high enough
for Fan of Knives to be beneficial.
As is the case with all Rogues, Assassination Rogues provide many utilities
and crowd control abilities to your raid (including one of the best AoE slows
in the game, with Fan of Knives having a chance to apply 
Crippling Poison).
They also have a variety of survival abilities that will always come in handy.
