In this article, we list the buffs, debuffs and useful abilities
that a Shadow Priest brings to a raid in WoW 4.3. We also list
equivalent buffs and debuffs that other classes provide.

Power Word: Fortitude |
Increases Stamina by 584 — does not stack with
Qiraji Fortitude, Commanding Shout, and
Blood Pact

Shadow Protection |
Increases Shadow Resistance by 195 — does not stack with
Resistance Aura |
Mind Quickening |
Increases spell casting speed of all raid or party
members by 5% — does not stack with Moonkin Form
and Wrath of Air Totem

Vampiric Embrace |
Heals the Priest for 6% and all other party members for 3% of all single
target Shadow damage done by the Priest.

Improved Mind Blast |
Healing reduction — does not stack with
Monstrous Bite, Widow Venom, Permafrost,
Wound Poison, Furious Attacks, Mortal Strike, and
Legion Strike

Hymn of Hope |
Raid-wide mana regenerating cooldown |
Divine Hymn |
Raid-wide healing cooldown |
Fear Ward |
Grants you or a friendly target immunity against the first
fear effect cast against them.

Cure Disease |
Removes one disease effect from a friendly target. |
Dispel Magic |
- When cast on yourself, removes two harmful magical effects.
- When cast on an enemy, removes a beneficial magical effect.

Mass Dispel |
Removes one harmful magical effect from every friendly
target and one beneficial magical effect from every enemy target in a 15
yard area. It is hard capped to 10 friendly dispels and 10 enemy dispels. |
Psychic Scream |
AoE fear |
Shackle Undead |
Allows you to crowd control an Undead target. |
Fade |
Temporarily reduces your threat against all targets (to 0),
forcing the mobs to attack someone else on their threat table. This spell is
especially useful when adds are spawning and you wish to avoid aggro. |
Leap of Faith |
Pulls a raid member to your location. This ability is
useful for moving unresponsive (or disconnected) players out of harm's
way. |
