In this article, we present you with various talent trees for Feral Druids (WoW 4.3) that you can use in specific situations. We also give you pointers for customising your talent tree and adapting it to a particular boss. The other articles of our Feral Druid guide can be accessed from the table of contents on the left. 1. Standard Talent Build↑topThe following build is the most robust and efficient Feral Druid tanking build. It includes all of the survivability talents as well a fair amount of talents to improve your DPS and threat generation.
2. Customising Your Build↑topThe talent build provided above is practically the best possible one and it will be ideally suited to you in the vast majority of situations. There is a single situation where you can choose to take a slightly different talent build, which we explain below. We will also provide you with a few options for some Major glyph choices. 2.1. TalentsThe only viable change to the above talent build is to take 2/2 in Brutal Impact. This will lower the cooldown of your interrupt ( Skull Bash) to 10 seconds. This is only useful on encounters where the boss needs to be regularly interrupted and no one else in your raid can perform the task (mostly in 10-man raids). In order to take these points, you should only take 1/3 in King of the Jungle. 2.2. GlyphsBoth the Prime and the Minor glyphs are essentially fixed, since there are no alternatives that improve your performance as a tank in any way. For Major glyphs, however, there is a small variation. 2.2.1. Prime GlyphsYou should always use the following Prime glyphs:
2.2.2. Major GlyphsGlyph of Maul is recommended for any encounter where there is more than one target, allowing to cleave both targets. If you are facing a single target exclusively, this glyph has no value. Glyph of Frenzied Regeneration causes Frenzied Regeneration to increase the healing you receive by 30%. To compensate, however, Frenzied Regeneration no longer converts rage into health. This glyph can be useful in certain situations, especially when you expect that healers will be able to heal you while Frenzied Regeneration is active, and you just want to boost that healing greatly. If you feel you will be using Frenzied Regeneration to make up for lack of healing, then you should not use this glyph. Glyph of Rebirth is practically mandatory if you ever intend to use your Rebirth, since it allows the target of your Rebirth to come back to life with full health, meaning that they do not risk instantly dying again to environmental damage. Other potential glyphs are:
2.2.3. Minor GlyphsOnly the following 3 Minor glyphs provide any benefit to you:
